Here one encounters a wondrous house and shrine dedicated to “God's victory over evil.” The house and shrine are really one, and they are pure folk follies of the mid-1950s. The configuration of the house is that of a two-story box with a shed roof, from which project all sorts of wood ornament, fin walls, porches, and even an attached garage. At the street corner of the house is a thin Gothic Revival arched niche, which effectively introduces the onlooker to the underlying religious theme of the house and shrine.
