Five white stucco boxes housing ten units constitute this Streamline Moderne residential court. Each of the boxes contains two dwelling-units, each of which is of two floors. The principal windows are metal casement corner windows, and a thin projecting slab serves as a roof over the two entrances below. Two insistent horizontal bands wrap around the building. The higher of these occurs around the top of the parapet; the second band composed of four lines has been placed between the first- and second-floor windows. The apartments were acquired in 1964 by the University of Iowa, and are now used for faculty and staff housing.
