Wentz House

A substantial two-story Greek Revival house realized in stone, the Wentz house has a wide entablature/cornice displaying a row of dentils; its entrance, with its pair of narrow side lights and transom, is deeply recessed into the wall. Each of the two side walls has a symmetrical pattern of windows, and to each side of the ridge of the gable roof are small chimneys. The central-hall plan has the usual staircase and pairs of rooms on each side of the hall on the first and second floors. The lean-to at the rear was probably original to the house.
