Sears Modern Home No. 264P202, first offered in the 1916 Sears Roebuck catalog for a cost of about $1,200, is a two-story house with Craftsman detailing. It has a one-story front porch with brick piers, and the front and side gables have fake Tudor detailing and deep eaves with large wooden brackets. Both casement and double-hung windows are original to this catalog house. A carport later added to the house was not included in the original catalog kit. The house is just west of downtown in an attractive early-twentieth-century residential leafy neighborhood with houses in a variety of styles.
