An unusual curved building, the National Guard Armory is also exceptionally large, measuring 900 feet by 100 feet. Accommodating the curve of Glenn Highway, the building comprises a quarter circle, presenting a long, bowed face to the highway and the mountains beyond. The first floor is faced with polychromatic concrete blocks, while the second has a metal covering.
