
The Episcopalians rebuilt their church here in the 1940s, purchasing logs for $100 from Fort Egbert's hospital building. The original church, similar in design, had been built by the Presbyterians in 1900 and acquired by the Episcopalians in 1905; it now operates as a nondenominational church.
