Located almost at the Canadian border on the road to Dawson, the town of Boundary consists of two historic log cabins. The larger of the two still serves as a cafe; it is constructed of round logs, saddle notched at the corners. The gable roof, constructed of sod on poles, covered with metal, extends in the front about 3 feet. The lodge, near the road, is also a log building with saddle notching and a gable roof extended in front. Constructed of both indigenous and found materials, products of their wilderness setting, the buildings continue to function as a way station for travelers.
