(Lower) Windy Creek Ranger Station and Moose Creek Ranger Cabin

Two later boundary cabins, the (Lower) Windy Creek Ranger Station from 1932 and the Moose Creek Ranger Cabin from 1935, were designed by Park Service landscape architects. Like the others, they are built of round logs saddle notched at the corners, but they exhibit a higher degree of finish and each has two rooms. Sill logs are laid on concrete foundations, and the interiors have tongue-and-groove flooring and built-in cabinets.
